The University Grants Commission (UGC) will bring out a rulebook for setting up of foreign campuses in India within a month, allowing near full freedom to foreign varsities in determining curriculum and academic course structure, faculty hiring and salaries and even the sensitive issue of fee structure. An expert committee will be set up to assess and evaluate these applications on their eligibility, credibility, India plan, academic courses on offer and the ability to set up and sustain the campus.from Industry-Economic Times
