ICICI said it believes a lot of the D2C brands start with the aim of getting sold and while traditionally one required a long operating history to be able to demonstrate brand relevance and prove operating economics, mid-size brand owners are now able to ‘cash-out’ early and generate good returns on their own invested capital.
