The liquidator of KSS Petron had approached the Mumbai bench of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) against the regional provident fund (PF) commissioner to challenge the demand raised by the department. In this case, the commissioner had issued two separate orders, demanding Rs 14.40 crore from the company and also raising an additional demand of Rs 6.43 crore as interest component and Rs 13 crore as damage and penalty for dues for 2012 to 2017.from Industry-Economic Times
