Maharashtra cabinet will soon consider the new draft wine policy of the state to be executed from January 2022 to replace the existing policy drafted 20 years ago that lapses this month. The government is expected to impose 10% excise duty on wine sales, 50% of which is proposed to be used for the development of the wine industry.from Industry-Economic Times
