CIL has envisaged to create a carbon offset of around 2.5 lakh tonnes in next five years. With active implementation of carbon reduction measures on various fronts, CIL is committed to achieve a carbon offset of more than 60000 tonnes by end of this year, an official statement said.from Industry-Economic Times
