Jio may have spent Rs 42,000-50,000 cr on day 1 of spectrum auction, Airtel around Rs25,000 cr: Analysts

Goldman Sachs said Jio has likely spent Rs 50,000 crore, Bharti Airtel spent Rs 25,000 crore while Vodafone Idea has renewed its spectrum by spending around Rs 3,000 crore. Brokerage firm Axis Capital estimates the bidding by Jio to be Rs 42,000 crore, Airtel to be Rs 25,000 crore and Vi to be Rs 7,000 crore.
