Since automobile dealerships reopened after 40 days on May 4, market leader Maruti Suzuki has delivered more than 1,600 cars and rival Hyundai Motor has retailed 608 vehicles. These were vehicles mostly booked before the lockdown was announced, anticipating deliveries on the auspicious days during Navratra, Akshaya Tritiya and Gudi Padwa.from Industry-Economic Times
